Chantel Azevedo Recognized by Brevard College

Brevard College recently recognized outstanding student achievement in academics, leadership and athletics for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Award winners were recognized at a campus-wide honors and awards luncheon, during special events hosted by each of the College's academic divisions as well as at an annual athletics awards ceremony.

Chantel Azevedo of Maple, Vaughan received the Outstanding Integrated Studies Major Award, Outstanding Service Award for the Debate Society and Coaches Award for Women's Soccer. She was also recognized for her inclusion in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges and her membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership society and Alpha Chi national honorary society for outstanding academic achievement.

Brevard College's honors and awards program recognizes those students who have excelled in their academic pursuits or have been honored by induction into one or more of the honor societies in their chosen field of study. The awards also honor outstanding athletes.
